ABOUT THE PROGRAM
So you've completed the Intro to Animation program and discovered that you LOVE animation...what's next? This program is the place for you! Build on your skillset and try new things as you apply your love for digital art to tell compelling stories! Learn about lighting, storyboarding, applying dialogue, and how to fit your animation into larger film projects.

Storyboarding and Visual Planning
You’ll map out your stories with sketches, thumbnails and shot-lists, learning how to lay out your scenes so your animation flows like a film. -
Short Film Production
Create your own animated short. From concept and character design, to animation, sound and final export. -
Refined Tools & Techniques
Sharpen your skills and explore more advanced techniques like timing, camera moves, frame-rate choices, visual effects and more. -
Collaboration, Iteration & Storytelling Mindset
Work with peers and coaches as you give and receive feedback, iterate your work and make something you’re proud to share. -
Build Creative Confidence
Find your creative voice by creating. In this class, you will be constantly creating! -
Screening & sharing your work
Build a portfolio of animated films ready for the big screen! Celebrate your journey by featuring your creations at our public screening events.
