Service Description
Make movies. Build skills. Find your creative voice. In this 12-week filmmaking program, teens will explore the complete production process, from developing an original idea to presenting a finished film. Participants will strengthen their skills in screenwriting, directing, acting, cinematography, editing, sound design, and production planning while collaborating with other young filmmakers. Whether they are interested in performing, writing, working behind the camera, or learning how to lead a production, this program gives teens the space to experiment, take creative risks, and develop their own filmmaking style in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Our experienced film coaches provide guidance, technical instruction, and professional mentorship, but the creative decisions belong to the participants. Every film is student-driven. Teens develop the concept, write the script, plan the production, operate the equipment, perform, edit, and create the final sound design. COMMUNITY SEATS AVAILABLE Access to filmmaking should not depend on a family’s financial situation. Community Seats are built into our programs to make participation possible for every young filmmaker. To register for a Community Seat, select the link at the top of the page.
