Inspired by the work of Jim Henson and the timeless charm of The Muppets, campers will design and build their own puppets, then learn how to perform them for the camera using movement, voice, and personality to create unforgettable characters. From expressive voices and physical comedy to creative staging and simple effects, we’ll explore how puppetry and filmmaking come together to make characters feel real on screen. Campers will collaborate on short scenes and stories where their creations take centre stage. Whether your puppet is hilarious, heartfelt, chaotic, or completely bizarre, this week is about giving it a voice and letting it shine. Learn how filmmakers use timing, performance, camera tricks, and editing to land a joke just right. Whether you're creating a sketch, a parody, a mockumentary-style piece, or something completely unexpected, this week is your chance to experiment, take risks, and have a blast doing it. Pratfalls encouraged. Bad ideas welcome. The funnier, the better.
